Our Starter kit was created for the many people starting out in chainmail who aren't sure what is a good material type and ring size to start with!
The starter kit Contains: 2 - Wide Nose flat pliers
Bright Aluminum Jump Rings - 16ga 5/16"id (approx. 500 rings)
Bright Aluminum Jump Rings - 16ga 1/4"id (approx. 500 rings)
Bright Aluminum Jump Rings - 18ga 3/16"id (approx. 500 rings)
Pure Copper Jump Rings - 16ga 1/4"id (approx. 250 rings)
This kit does not come with specific pattern sheets.This kit is perfect for beginners!! Comes with everything you need to get started!

Details

  • All Project kits come with all rings, instructions, and findings needed to make the project as photoed and described above.
  • You will need pliers - one pair for each hand to complete this project.
  • We recommend pliers with no teeth - Our favourite tool are these Xurons.  They are the best tool we have found!
  • These Chain Nose pliers are a less expensive tool but work well for these kits.
  • These Wide Nose pliers are great for kits that use rings larger than 18 gauge.

    Good starter kit with lots of sizes to practice weaves with. Pliers work great.
