USA Shipping delays

Whew!!  We made it through another Christmas Season together!! 

I would like to apologize for some delays we saw over the holidays - and let you know what we are doing to try and prevent it from happening again! As you might know, we jump through some crazy hoops to offer the best shipping options to the USA from Canada.  Canada post has horribly expensive options that take a LONG time in transit, so by using DYKPOST as a third party to ferry our USA packages to the USPS, it works out being cheaper and faster!

There were TWO main issues we suffered with this holiday season.  First was DYKPOST was missing some of our boxes.  So I would ship on Monday - and then Friday, we would start to get complaints from YOU that your packages weren't scanned by USPS yet --- And that was because DYKPOST didn't open and process our orders!  This happened too many times, and so we are changing the location that we ship to! Our orders will Now go to Edmonton- Which DYK POST promises is a quieter location who will be able to process our boxes faster and avoid errors.

The second issue we had was the Big boxes we ship three times a week or more wasn't getting picked up by the courier... We had this happen with UPS, Loomis, Canpar and Purolator... Which was SOOOO frustrating!  We found out that our regular Loomis driver is back from holidays and so this shouldn't be an issue going forward... 

Please know that customer service is VERY important to me, and is very much the main focus of this business I have built.  These issues are frustrating for me, and I am just being transparent and letting you know that I am doing my best to prevent these issues from happening again!

Canada post did an amazing Job with our Canadian orders and we appreciate that.  We sure wish they would drop the fuel surcharges.  Canada shipping is WAY more expensive that our USA shipping.  Go Figure!
