These are the Classes we are currently offering at our studio! The Studio is located at 1107 8th Street East. This is a strip mall on the corner of 8th Steet and MacKinnon Ave. There is a small parking lot and street parking! OPEN STUDIO TIME We are now happy to offer Studio time to come in and create. This option is open for all students that have taken classes from us. You must have taken a class that used the piece of equipment you want to use. For example to use the hydraulic press, you must have had a lesson using it. This is to protect our tools from damage.
The reason we are renting Studio time to you is really for your benefit. We would like to see you come in and use our tools, to keep the jewelry making hobby more affordable. If you have to invest the thousands of dollars in equipment that we have, then you have no money for silver and stones to make the jewelry with!
Cost of this service- We are charging $15 per hour for studio rental time. You can by a flex pass for 10 hours for $125. There is a sign in and sign out sheet when you arrive at the studio. This charge helps us cover the cost of fuel, flux, and solder you will use in the studio. It also helps us pay rent for the studio space. And lastly it helps us replace the tools that are damaged by students, so you have good quality tools to work with!
Studio rental does not include private lessons. So when you are planning what skills to practice in the studio, make sure you are planning a project in your skill comfort zone! Practice makes perfect!
Private lessons can be arranged with Roberta or Shelley for $30 per hour.
